On September 13,1996 I (Craig Haley) opened Mattresses, Etc (soon to be Perrysburg Mattress) with just 900 square feet of showroom space and the desire to make mattress shopping more enjoyable. My approach was simple; offer no more than 25 of the highest value mattresses available, at prices starting at just under a hundred dollars. That's it! My plan focused on creating a unique, fresh approach to the mattress shopping experience, with brand names, competitive pricing, and a knowledgeable, and well-trained sales staff.
Mattress shopping can be easy!
Over the next several years, I opened several stores in several different communities, but ultimately settled in with a single store at Levis Commons in Perrysburg. |
